Ashia Razzaq

Ashia Razzaq is Chief Operating Officer of Pentara Capital. She brings more than two decades of international experience spanning strategy, investor relations, corporate communications, and senior advisory roles, with a career that has taken her across Asia, Africa, the US, and Europe.

Prior to joining Pentara, Ashia was Chief of Staff at Columbia Helicopters, a private equity-backed aviation business, where she partnered with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to drive strategic transformation, operational excellence, and investor readiness. She was previously a Partner at Williams Nicolson, advising FTSE-listed companies and private equity firms on investor relations, reputational risk, and corporate communications.

Ashia also spent five years at MetLife in New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, where she held leadership roles in finance and corporate communications. Earlier, she spent over a decade at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong, London, Johannesburg, and New York, serving in senior corporate affairs and investor relations roles, including Chief Operating Officer for Corporate Affairs and Head of Investor Relations for Asia.

She is a certified executive coach with the International Coaching Federation. Ashia holds a BS in Business Studies from City St George’s, University of London, and has completed leadership training at INSEAD.
